I bought the old City Mission Bldg on So. 9th 20 years ago and renovated it. I have been living here, working in my studio (fused glass), and managing the bldg ever since. Besides taking care of the building, I am a gardener and am constantly working on the public outside space which includes a half block long entry courtyard and a large terrace (mostly container gardening). I also am a very active member in Gallery Nine, an Artist's cooperative that resides in the building. First Friday Gallery Walk is a lot of work, but a lot of fun too. Always a walker, I still do a lot of it, mostly with my Corgi, Murray and my brother. My latest passion is doing agility with Murray. We train 3 or 4 times a week and compete in agility trials. We both have so much fun and the people and dogs doing it are the greatest! That's about it..when I can squeeze it in I spend time with Tim and his family who live 25 miles away or fly to California to visit Tony and his family. I am blessed with good health, good friends, a great family and things that I am passionate about. It doesn't get too much better than that at any age.
