Don and I were in Boy Scouts together for a time way back when. Don was a quiet person and very nice. A gentle person. We kind of drifted into different lives, but we always had a nice talk when we met in the hall. My wife Janet and i sat with Don and his wife Linda at the last reunion. What a memorable time we had. Don kept us laughing all night. He even surprised Linda with his talk, he was supposed to be so quite. I am very sorry he has passed on. We were looking forward to reconnecting our friendship in October. What a sad thing to happen.
