October 25, 1943 - July 1, 2024

Muir Niles Cooper, 80, passed away July 1, 2024 at a CHI Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska.  He had worked at American Stores, Goodyear, Meadow Gold, Rainbo Bread, and did janitorial work.  He was selflessly devoted to his family and was blessed with 58 years of marriage to his wife, Sheryl.  He loved gardening, the Huskers, his family, and Nico, his son's dog.

Muir is survived by his wife, Sheryl; sons Brian and Jamie of Lincoln; sisters Beth of North Platte and Mayel of Oklahoma City; grandchildren Brandon of Broken Bow, Kayla and Cody of Lincoln; greatgrandchildren Allisa and Jordan of Lincoln; brother-in-law, Bill of Allentown, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otho and Merlin Cooper; brothers Norlin and Eber; and grandson Bradley.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 pm, Saturday July 6, 2024, at Wyuka Funeral Home, 3600 O St., Lincoln, NE 68510.  Prior to the Service, visitation will be 10:30 am - 12:00 pm, Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Wyuka Funeral Home.  Interment at Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln.  Luncheon to follow.
