Bill was....is...a truly good guy.....and, a great "John."  My bet is that John will be happy and active in his new life.

The best 'Little John' since Alan Hale, Sr. and one of the merriest of the LHS Merry Men of Sherwood. Always enjoyed chatting with him at the reunions and will miss his warm welcome this summer. I agree with Robin Hood (see above) that Bill is in an even merrier group now. Farewell, friend.

Bill and I were neighbors, we grew up together.  His mother took care of me before I was in school even.  I remember the good times we had playing together and what a good cook his mother was!  I always looked for him at the reunions I attended and missed not seeing him the last time.  He was such a kind soul and I will miss him and wish the best for his family.

Bill was a great guy to be around. My best memory is being in the play Robin Hood when Bill was Little John. We had a lot of fun running around in our tights trying to be  merry men. The last few years I got to enjoy Bill's sense of humor by getting his Facebook posts. He did love to post on Facebook. His tuba jokes were the best. God is sovereign and we know you are in a better place. Penny and your family are in our prayers.
