Lauren "Lori" Kay Thomson, 63, Palmyra, died Sunday, August 31, 2008, at a Lincoln Hospital.  Born May 30, 1945 at Lincoln, she graduated from Lincoln High School in 1963.  Married to David Thomson on June 9, 1967 at Lincoln, they lived in Palmyra where they raised their sons.  Lori worked at Gold's Department Store, Americana Nursing Home, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company; and Nebraska Southwest Livestock Sale Barn.

Survivors include:  husband, David; two sons, Allen, Douglas and Adam, Lincoln; sister, Patricia Palmer and Husband Gerald; niece, Cherrie Palmer; and nephew, Gerry Palmer.  Preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Selma Vogel Allen.

Services:  2 pm Thursday September 4, 2008, Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Palmyra, with Pastor Brenda Pfeifly officiating.  Burial:  Rosewood Cemetery, Palmyra.  Visitation 3 pm Tuesday, Spet. 2, 2008 until 9 pm Wednesday Sept 3, 2008 at the funeral home; and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.  Memorials to the family's choice with the funeral home in charge.  Condolences at foxfuneralhome.net.  Fox Funeral Home, Beatrice, is in charge of arrangements.
