Eldon and I were in Mr. Osborne's print class, if I remember correctly. Really thought that he was a "cool" guy in class and great freind. Easy going and laid back. After LHS, Eldon and I, like most of us, went our seperate ways, and lost track of each other. I went into the Army, served in Vietnam, and returned home safe and sound. Was dating another later graduate of LHS (68), who was a good freind of Eldon's wife, Marilee, I believe that was her name, that said Eldon also went into the Army, went to Vietnam; however, he made the untimate sacifice serving his country. Going to say that was the summer or early fall of '68'. I salute you Eldon!

Thanks for sharing a poingnant memory with us Billy--being remembered is an honor to your friend.  The wounds of Vietnam will be a long time healing, if ever.  Sharing can help sometimes.    I enjoyed seeing you and meeting Linda this weekend!
