Very sad news. Hearing Mary Ellen's name, brings back many happy and fun filled memories we shared during High School. Heartfelt blessings to her family.
I'm so sad to hear about Mary's passing. I also have so many loving memories of her; her home on Prospect, her sister and brothers, and her wonderful artistic mom. She was always "Pete" to me. We went to First Presbyterian Church, and sang in the Cecelian Choir together; I also vividly remember a duet we sang in a program for our parents - we sang Moon River together; how funny that remains with me. We developed our own secret code written language in junior high - which I'm sure was very hard to decipher. Ha ha! I wish we had lived closer to each other - after high school, I lost touch, but chatted with her on Facebook from time to time, and saw all of the beautiful flower pictures she posted online. She was an amazing gardener. I truly can't believe she is not with us any more....but I know she is in a wonderful place with the Lord!
