Roger, Rest in Peace.......

One of greatest gymnasts, enjoyed our flips and vaults on the Capitol lawns, you were my "how to learn to dance partner" we got ridiculed, but we were good. Some may forget, but Roger won 1st place in State gymnastics as a Sophmore, white sweater and all, several events. I always looked for you to go Olympian. Our good friend and fellow gymnast Francis Allen, coached UN to Nat. Championships, and Olympic Gold.

You were a great bowler, and we had memorable times on our team, with Hollibaugh and Scwabauer, and won some cool trophies. Your family, Galan, mom and dad, well we all hung out to do what we loved, bowling. At the "Bowlmor", playing pinball and trying to get free bowling games in. I remember your home was filled with hundreds of trophies, the whole family contributed.

Fondest memories of our later years calls with Billy Martin and myself, as we talked about everything, under the sun from Bill's sister garage.

You and I were great friends from 2nd grade on, through the Army and later in life, as we talked for hours about "life". I'LL NEVER FORGET THOSE TALKS.

One of the saddest days in my life, when your duaghter called me to tell me about your untimely passing, and you enjoyed our "talks".

Thinking about you brings tears, God Bless You Roger,

Your friend John Dockery
