Robert D. Clements, 57, of Modesto died Monday, May 10, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, California.  Mr. Clements was born in Little Rock, Arkansas Oct 2, 1945 and lived in Modesto 19 years.  He was part owner of Superior Employment Corp. in Ceres for five years.  He enjoyed bowling, cooking and sports.  He served in the Navy from 1963 to 1965 (Vietnam).

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Clements of Modesto; children, Jason Clements of Cameron Park, Wendy Dickson of Gresham, Oregon, and Crisandre Clements of Modesto; sister, Pat Amburgey of Florida, and one grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Erma Clements.

A funeral will be at 11 am Monday at New Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, with burial at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson, California.  Evins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association, 1212 W. Robinhood Drive, Stockton, CA  95207.
