Kathy and I knew each other because we were kind of cousins.  My aunt on my mother's side was married to her uncle on the Bieber side. I wasn't related to the Biebers except throug my uncle Bill Bieber (by marriage) and she wasn't related to his wife (my aunt) who was her aunt too, but only by marriage.   So we were kind of cousins with the same aunt and uncle, but not really cousins.  Whew!  I liked her and we always thought it was kind of funny the way our lives intertwined.  Paul Rudolph

I didn't know Kathleen very well during the actual high school years. But, it turned out after I was married I came into contact quite frequently with her as she worked at our insurance agents office. I can't remember which one but somewhere around 40th and "O" Street. So we had many conversations in person or by phone. She was absolutely delightful and very, very efficient in her job. She knew the insurance business ins and outs. She always helped me get the best deals or options for problems. We had many conversations about school. She had a terrific personality on the phone or in the office. I wished I had gotten to know her better in school. I am sure she will be greatly missed by family and friends. RIP Kathleen......"
